The 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition made its public debut at the 14th annual Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, an event drawing roughly 50,000 attendees and 20,000 Jeeps.
2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition – What’s new?
Built exclusively on the four-door Wrangler Willys platform, the Smoky Mountain Edition combines hardcore off-road hardware with unique cosmetic touches inspired by the iconic American mountain range. Exterior highlights include light and dark grey hood decals depicting rugged mountain peaks, 17-inch smoky black alloy wheels fitted with 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires (with 35-inch rubber available as an option), gloss black grille panel and steel rock rails.
To present a unified look, both the hardtop and fender flares are painted in matching body colour, while the Sky One-Touch power top remains on the options list.
Powertrain of the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition
Underneath the bodywork, the model retains the trail-ready capability expected from the Willys trim. It comes equipped with front and rear Dana 44 axles, 4.10 axle ratio, rear locking differential and a factory tow hitch. Power is supplied by either a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine or a 3.6L Pentastar V6, both mated exclusively to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The cabin features several bespoke details designed to reflect local geography and wildlife. Black Ferndale cloth seats incorporate an embossed central texture mimicking heavy-duty metal checker plate, paired with deeper side bolsters finished with Terracotta contrast stitching and Blaze Orange accents aimed at evoking a mountain sunrise.
Easter eggs abound, including a 1941 WWII-era Willys Jeep parachuting graphic embossed on the front seats and replicated on the tailgate's data plate. The shift lever features a custom medallion depicting a bear and cub in a nod to the region's native fauna, while the upper dashboard receives an Addax technical texture and anodized trim rings.
Stellantis has already opened order books for the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition. Pricing is set at a $2,610 CAD premium over a comparably equipped 4-door Wrangler Willys.
