Lincoln has confirmed the return of the Corsair for the 2027 model-year. But unlike before, the SUV will be offered only as a hybrid, and it be will manufactured in China and imported into Canada and the U.S.
Production of the previous Corsair and its platform mate, the Ford Escape, ended last December at the Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky as the facility retools to build the new Ford Fathom electric pickup.
Until Ford expands its U.S. manufacturing footprint starting in 2030, the revised crossover will be imported from a joint-venture plant in Chongqing, China, under Ford's partnership with Chang'an Automobile Group. Lincoln currently also imports the Nautilus SUV from China.
In Canada, Lincoln is leveraging the Ottawa-Beijing trade agreement signed this past January, which allows up to 49,000 electrified vehicles annually to enter under standard tariff rates, bypassing the 100-percent surtax.

2027 Lincoln Corsair – What’s new?
Other than being built elsewhere, the Corsair is getting a design tweak, but more significantly, it’s foregoing its traditional combustion engine for a single, non-plug-in hybrid setup. The system combines a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor to generate 305 hp, delivered through standard all-wheel drive. Driver assistance also gets a boost with the inclusion of BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free highway driving technology, featuring automatic lane-changing capabilities.

Visually, the crossover receives an updated front fascia with a broader grille that seamlessly merges into new headlights beneath a sculpted hood. Other notable changes include restyled taillights, a refreshed rear bumper, three new wheel designs (18, 19, and 20 inches) and five fresh exterior colours, including Manhattan Green and Flame Red.

Inside, the cabin gains refined materials, redesigned seating and an available Stellar Sun interior scheme. Front passengers benefit from optional 24-way "Perfect Position" power seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.
