Today, November 23rd marks the 4th annual National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims in Canada, a day on which Canadians are invited to honour and remember the thousands who have died or been affected by road crashes.

With an emphasis on the importance of safe driving, the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA) in association with the Canadian Global Road Safety Committee launched a web site where it's possible for visitors to create a tribute for someone you've lost or whose life has been effected due to a vehicular crash. Visitors can also use this opportunity to express their support for the overall improvement of Canadian road safety.

Unfortunately, traffic collisions are most fatal for those between the ages of 5 and 34 with an average of six people dying on Canadian roads every single day – that means one person every four hours.
