Mercedes-Benz delivered the 5000th B-Class compact sport-tourer to a Laval Quebec woman earlier this month. Maria Zampini had been looking for a car that could meet a wide variety of needs, and decided on the B-Class- despite being new to the Mercedes brand.
Zampini said "I had a long list of specific and important features and characteristics I was looking for in a vehicle. I have two young children and a family; we lead a busy and active lifestyle. I liked the look of the B-Class and I was very impressed with just how much this vehicle has to offer: loads of interior space, an innovative and remarkable safety construction and I knew that with the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star on the hood, I couldn't go wrong."
Since it went on sale in 2005, the B-Class has become one of the German luxury automakers best selling models. It's available in standard B200 or B200 Turbo models and offers a CVT or manual transmission as well as a variety of features and plenty of storage space. Mercedes-Benz says the B200 offers great style and a dynamic driving experience that makes it a great package for a young, active family.
B200 starts under $30,000.
