Andretti Green Racing bought the A1GP Team USA set-up with in mind to put two of their IRL drivers, Marco Andretti and Danica Patrick, behind the wheel in order to provide them with extra race time in road racing.
But we have learned that Danica Patrick won't be part of this international adventure and that Marco Andretti will be, after all, the one who will do all the driving duties.
It seems that Mrs. Patrick was expected to be paid for her services. Obviously, Andretti Green Racing, who figured they were doing her a favour by getting her some off-season road racing miles, declined that request.
