Acura unveiled its brand-new interior concept at this week’s Los Angeles Auto Show, showcasing the carmaker’s latest advances and future vision regarding luxury design, sportiness and new technologies. The Acura Precision Cockpit features a highly dynamic and sporty design, thanks notably to seats, a steering wheel and driving mode selector all inspired by those adorning the NSX model.
The concept also benefits from a strong focus on metal, natural wood, leather and alcantara elements, providing the interior – already very close to being production-ready, according to the manufacturer – with a high-end, futuristic demeanour. Acura’s engineers have also fitted the Cockpit with a 12.3-inch screen to serve as the instrument panel, semi-autonomous driving technologies, and a driving-mode selector set up as follows:
- White: Snow
- Blue: Comfort
- Red: Sport
- Orange: Sport Plus
