Adding to the multitude of mysterious new-car announcements floating around the web in anticipation of the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, Alfa Romeo teased the public by revealing that their Alfa Romeo 4C will debut at the show.

Playing into the social-media giant Facebook's influence over the general public and all things cool, Alfa Romeo uploaded their teaser announcement to their fan page, and within 2 days had over 450 likes – and you can't even see the car in the photo, just mysterious headlights that, truthfully, look pretty cool.

This isn't the first time the public has seen the Alfa Romeo 4C. It made an appearance as a disguised concept car at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show and was then powered by a 1.75L turbocharged, 4-cylinder with 200 hp with RWD. It was unveiled as the Alfa TCT, but we now know the truth.

How different the 4C will be from that original concept won't be known till mid-September. We'll wait on the edge of our seats, like everyone else, till then.
