To deliver precise, sports car-like handling, the TSX utilizes an extremely rigid unibody structure, a race-bred four-wheel-independent double-wishbone suspension, standard Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), 17-inch alloy wheels and specially designed Michelin P215/50R17 all-season performance tires.

The TSX features an aggressive wedge design with an aerodynamic body. In front, styling cues include a signature 5-sided Acura grille, stylish High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps and large air openings beneath the front bumper which guide airflow to the radiator and evoke the image of racing brake ducts. In the rear, the backlight slopes to meet a short trunk lid, which terminates sharply to help air separate cleanly off the back of the car at high speeds.

The cockpit of the TSX is sporty yet refined with ample room for four occupants. It is comprehensively equipped with deeply bolstered perforated leather seating, a leather-wrapped three-spoke sport steering wheel with integrated audio and cruise control switches, dual automatic climate control, an Acura Premium Audio System, power windows and doors, and a keyless entry system.

The standard side curtain airbag on the TSX covers both the front and rear side windows in the event of a side impact. This unique system leads the industry in terms of deployment speed, inflated coverage area, maximized inflated bag thickness with minimized internal pressure.

The new side curtain airbag is the latest product of Honda's airbag philosophy, developed to effectively protect the heads and necks of occupants with a variety of physiques in a variety of positions in the event of a side collision, without causing any collateral injury.

The 2004 Acura TSX luxury sport sedan will go on sale at Acura dealerships across Canada in April 2003.
