French-Canadian racer Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has landed a drive with Alex Job Racing for the 60th 12 Hours of Sebring, presented on March 17.
The 2011 Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will be sharing a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with Americans Leh Keen and Cooper MacNeil, the WeatherTech No. 22 car.
"I am very excited to [participate] in this American Le Mans series endurance race, internationally renowned alongside the 24 hours of Daytona and the 24 hours of Mans. Teams from all around will be participating and this makes me proud […] to compete with highly ranked pilots," he commented.
"The walls are very narrow at Sebring and mistakes are not forgiven. [The] track is long, uneven and physically demanding for the [drivers. You need to be] intelligent […] in order to be on the [leaders' lap at the end of the race]."
