Nissan
Again this year, the Nissan LEAF continues to be the affordable option in the Nissan electric-vehicle lineup. The 40-kWh battery option is still on the table, but the LEAF equipped with a 62 kWh battery is now the clear choice, and the only compelling one really given that it delivers 363 km of range compared with 242 km for the “small” battery.
The big news for Nissan now, though, is the pending arrival – twice delayed, at least – of the Ariya, its first all-electric SUV. The latest we’re told is that it should launch commercially before the end of the year.
