Route 66: The Unique Wigwam Motel and its Teepee-Shaped Rooms The Wigwam Motel was part of a chain at the time. There are only two such establishments left on Route 66

Some of the vehicles on site would be a joy for collectors and restorers.

The Studebaker van that sits in front of the motel is the one owned by the original owner of the site, Chester E. Lewis.
