Ram 1500
For several years now, the Ram 1500 has set the standard for delivering a high-end, refined and super-comfortable drive that contrasts with but complements the truck’s workhorse capabilities. No more jarring rides in drab, no-charm interiors, in other words.
In 2022, Ram’s pickup continues to lead the field even as an arms race rages on, particularly between the U.S. Big Three’s entrants.
What C&D liked:
- In some iterations, the Ram 1500 delivers better fuel economy than the Kia Telluride
- Good selection on engines, each one of them very capable
- A wide front bench allows for three occupants taking position there
- Quiet cabin
- Good steering
- Huge back row of seating
- Its refinement doesn’t prevent it from doing all the pickupy things very well
