2022 Kia EV6
It might be the Ioniq 5’s close cousin in its innards, but the Kia EV6 looks absolutely nothing like its Hyundai counterpart. Hats off to the brand's designers for coming up with a completely different silhouette for this EV. What’s more, the upcoming Genesis GV60, itself also technically virtually identical to the two Hyundai Group EVs, is also entitled to a totally exclusive design.
So how to choose, then? Those who have pitched their tents in the EV6 camp point to the higher level of driving pleasure it delivers compared to the Ioniq 5. For them, that counts more than the slight bit of headroom you sacrifice in the Kia, the result of its sleeker silhouette and more-sloping roofline. As for the GV60, we will be driving the model for the first time next month so we’ll have an opinion to foist on you then.
