Its launch should have taken place last year, but the launch of Nissan’s all-electric compact crossover was delayed by the ongoing supply-chain crisis. New delays were announced recently, but now the debut of the Ariya is on track to happen this year, as evidenced by its presence at the recent New York Auto Show. On the other hand, it won’t be on display at this weekend’s Montreal Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show. Still, expect it at dealers and on Canadian roads before the end of the year.

By the way, as with many of the other recent new arrivals on the electric-vehicle market, all the first examples have already been reserved.
