The first units of Toyota's electric crossover are already on Canadian soil, while its non-identical twin, the Subaru Solterra, is making its debut these days. And if you're wondering why they're together here in our top 10, the two models are very similar in their approach and mechanics, as they were developed together.

That said, the Subaru, in contrast to the Toyota, is not available with two-wheel drive; the manufacturer wanting to preserve its image as a "go-anywhere" division.

Let's hope now that the youthful troubles of the bZ4X model are just a bad nightmare... for Toyota's top management, but also for the consumers who made their choice on this vehicle.
