Following last week Danica Patrick's first ever victory for a woman in a major motorsports event, Ashley Force went on to beat her own father, legendary John Force.
Ashley became the first woman in NHRA history to win a national event in Funny Car at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals in Georgia.
Driving her Castrol GTX Ford Mustang, Ashley Force succeeded in passing her father with a run of 4.837 seconds at 320.36mph.
With this victory, Ashley Force now leads the Funny Car championship over Tim Wilkerson.
