Andrew Ranger will try his hands for another time this season in the ARCA Racing Series but this time it will be on a dirt track, as he will take part in the classic Labor Day event in DuQuoin, Illinois.
Although dirt tracks are not a common site in stock cars, DuQuoin has been a fixture of the ARCA Series for the past 30 years.
"It will be my first experience on such track in ARCA," concedes the Canadian, "but it won’t be my first experience ever, since I had the chance to race on dirt tracks when I was young."
His father, Robert Ranger, had quite a reputation as a dirt track racer, having been a successful competutir for a number of years throughout Quebec, Ontario and the North-Eastern part of the USA.
Andrew Ranger will be pretty busy during the coming weeks, competing in two K&N NASCAR East Series's races in Loudon (September 23) and Dover (September 30).
Two more participations in the NASCAR Nationwide Series are possible and another attempt at the Sprint Cup is more than likely.
