Saturday's afternoon session of open testing at Daytona International Speedway welcomed drafting for the first time, and two-time ARCA Racing Series race winner Alex Bowman gave Venturini Motorsports the top of the board for another day.

Bowman (Chevrolet) finished his best lap in 47.787 seconds (188.336 mph), topping team-mates John Stancill, Brennan Poole, and Ryan Reed, and Tony Marks Racing's Jared Marks.

Milka Duno, who led the morning session with the weekend's top single-car run, finished sixth in the afternoon, while Maryeve Dufault, who had been 5th in the morning, finished 18th in front of seven-time and defending Daytona-winner Bobby Gerhart, ARCA Rookie of the Year Chris Buescher (27th) and nine-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel (28th).
