ARCA: Ontario's Terry Jones qualifies 10th at Daytona

Amherstburg, ON's Terry Jones slipped his Toyota through to the top 10, Friday afternoon during qualifying ahead of the Lucas Oil 200, the opening round of the ARCA series, presented this weekend at Daytona.

Jones who is the best placed Canadian in the event, will start Saturday's race in 10th place. Driving his Jones Group-JMC Steel Group Toyota, he averaged 180.357 mph around the famous 2.5-mile tri-oval.

Countryman Cole Powell, of Mount Brydges, ON, placed his Ford in 17th with an average of 179.179 mph. French Canadians Mario Gosselin and Maryeve Dufault are 22nd and 31st, respectively.

18-year-old Dylan Kwasniewski will lead the the 42-car field.
