Under the graceful Italian bodywork still lies the heart and soul of a British thoroughbred sports car. The Vanquish Zagato will continue to make use of the naturally aspirated six-liter V12 that delivers 460 horsepower to the rear wheels. Performance, as with the regular car is lightning quick, optimized with Aston's robotized manual gearbox resulting in 100 km/h attainable in the low fours.

Though it has not been confirmed, the Vanquish Zagato will probably end up as a limited run, similar to the DB-7 based AR1, although not only a convertible but a coupe could also be offered. Incidentally, the Vanquish Zagato roadster will be offered with a hardtop for driving in inclement conditions.
Expect the price tag to be exorbitant, as anything but might make it less than exclusive. Just like the regular Vanquish, the Vanquish Zagato will be one of the world's finest sports cars, redressed. It will make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
