Carl Skerlong has qualified inside the top four for every race thus far in the 2008 Atlantic Championship season, but it wasn't until yesterday that the American scored his first career Atlantic pole position.

Joining Skerlong on the front row will be rookie Dane Cameron for Genoa Racing. Cameron secure the best starting spot of his young Atlantic career.

Another rookie, Jonathan Summerton, made it an American sweep of the top-three starting spots by placing his No. 36 Newman Wachs Racing entry third on the grid.

James Hinchcliffe, who is starting Race #1 of the doubleheader from the pole position, will be fourth on the grid. Jonathan Bomarito rounded out the top five.

Walker Racing's Kevin Lacroix will start from the 7th spot while he qualified 11th for the first race at Edmonton.
