Two teams raise nearly $10,000 for sick children By ,

This past weekend, took part in Make-A-Wish Quebec’s 48-hour bike ride to help fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening conditions. For the 2015 edition, two teams of riders hit Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal and pedalled non-stop from Friday, Sept. 25th at noon to Sunday, Sept. 27th at noon. 

Together with 1,400 other cyclists, they took turns on the track and braved the hot afternoons and brisk mornings of early fall. Everyone had the same goal in mind: to help make a kid’s dream come true and give their family a much-needed break.

The teams ended up raising $9,355.32, easily surpassing their target of $7,800. Overall, more than 200 teams participated and helped Make-A-Wish Quebec raise over $1,615,000. is proud to contribute to this charity for five years and counting, and the focus is already turned on next year’s event.
