The remains of England's glorious motoring era
The fastest in the world
For as long as we can remember, people have always tried to break records. The museum showcases three of the fastest cars on the planet: the 1,000-hp Sunbeam, Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird and Henry Seagrave's Golden Arrow. Each one of them, at some point in time, set a new world speed record.

Oh look, motorcycles!

Two-wheelers continue to be a big part of our motoring landscape. Names like Triumph, BSA and Norton will surely ring a few bells. Such racers as Mike Hailwood and John Surtees excelled on international speedways back in the day. Hailwood's Ducati as well as Phil Read's Augusta are also on display at the museum.

Open all year long
The Beaulieu National Motor Museum hosts various auto-related events throughout the year, including auctions, club gatherings and a major parts fair. You can also find one of the largest archive and photograph collections about automobiles. Check it out on site or on the web at www.motoringpicturelibrary.com.

Finally, there's a great restaurant if you want to stay for lunch. And the personnel of the entire museum is extremely courteous.
