BMW 5-Series to Feature All-Wheel Drive

for Jul 28, 2004: 2005 BMW M5 Preview) at Detroit's Cobo Hall in January, plus its radical H2R Hydrogen Record Car (see Concept archives for Oct 29, 2004: 2004 BMW H2R Concept), a low-slung hydrogen-powered roadster that set nine world speed records.

BMW's MINI division will also be on hand showing its new Cooper S Convertible and new 6-speed automatic transmission equipped Cooper S. MINI won't, however, be showing the all-wheel drive Cooper S it has reportedly been working on (see news archives for Dec 20, 2004: Is MINI Cooper to get All-Wheel Drive Option?).
