Canada is already playing an important role in the hydrogen economy, especially in Vancouver, BC where Ballard Power and a variety of associated independent research and supplier companies are located.
On the subject Hendrik von Kuenheim, President and CEO of BMW Group Canada commented, "Canada is in a strategic position to play a strong role in the new hydrogen age." He continued, "Both the political will and the energy resources are available in abundance for achieving a hydrogen future. What we require now is the infrastructure."
The solution to that problem is now, at least conceptually, well under way.
