The new BMW M2 and X4 M40i will make their world debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month. The former will go on sale in Canada and the U.S. in the spring, while the latter will arrive in February.
The BMW M2 gets a new 3.0L M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine producing 365 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. It can sprint from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.2 seconds.
Meanwhile, the BMW X4 M40i generates 355 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque from an M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine. It can sprint from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed electronically limited at 150 mph (241 km/h).
Other BMW models on display at the NAIAS will include the 330e, 740e, X1, and i8.
