BRABUS today announced the details of its new tuning program for the second-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe.
The suspension developed in cooperation with Bilstein includes BRABUS sport springs that lower the ride height by 1.2 inch (30 mm). CLS models featuring the AIRMATIC air suspension system can be lowered by 1.4 inch (35 mm) with the BRABUS suspension module.
The CLS 250 CDI with available BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D4 performance kit delivers an additional 31 horsepower and produces a peak torque of 413 lb-ft.
Meanwhile, the CLS 350 CDI BRABUS offers the ECO PowerXtra D6S tuning kit. In ‘Eco’ mode only peak torque is increased from 457 to 509 lb-ft. If the ‘Sport’ mode is selected, maximum output then jumps from 265 to 309 horsepower, allowing the tuned turbodiesel model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds.
All engines deliver a throaty exhaust note through the four stainless steel tailpipes of the BRABUS sport exhaust system. The company also revised the interior to include leather and Alcantara, a new steering wheel, a BRABUS multimedia package and many other custom upgrades.
Outside, notable enhancements include front and rear spoilers, sill skirts, a huge selection of wheels in a number of different sizes as well as Yokohama or Pirelli tires.
