Yup, Shelby Supercars has done it again: it's time for a new beastly ride to leave their stables, the Tuatara on the tailpipes of the Ultimate Aero.
No solid performance details have been released regarding this savage-looking ride, but we do know that the Jason Castriota-designed Tuatara packes a twin-turboed 7.0L V8 that'll push out a staggering 1,350hp (Oh. My. God.) all pushed out through the rear wheels (yes, you can grab for the Kleenex now). The Tuatara will also sport a 7-speed manual gearbox (our knees just went weak) or an optional 7-seed SMG sequential auto transmission.
No news yet on a release date or when we'll be seeing this creature hit the open track, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.
And who cares what it's called at this point, right?
Tarantula, tarantella, tortilla, whatever; this car is going to be fast, and it looks pretty fantastic to boot.
