This just in: Tesleigh accused of unfair competition
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is once again dealing with legal troubles as his latest venture, Tesleigh, has just received a court order not to sell vehicles directly to Santa Claus and thus bypass the traditional elf-dealer network.

As you know, there's a big battle going on between sled manufacturers, all of them wanting a piece of the lucrative North Pole market.

“Tesla can sell automobiles however it wants and that's fine with us, but Tesleigh has no right to do business with Santa without going through one of our dealers,” said the president of the North Pole Elf-Dealer Association.

A number of elves and reindeer have already formed a roadblock in front of Tesleigh's factory store. NorthPole123.com will keep a close eye on the situation and report to you as soon as developments arise.

Nearly 30 sleds recalled by Bob Sleigh
Defective runners have forced sled manufacturer, Bob Sleigh, to recall 28 units from the past 10 model years, most of them equipped with an All-Runner Drive (ARD) system.

In some cases, the runner on the Santa Claus side of the sled may have been improperly mounted during assembly. Vibrations resulting from Mach-12 speeds may loosen the bolts that secure the runner in place.

In the event that a runner detaches from the sled, a loss of control may ensue and the driver may not be able to land safely, which could have catastrophic consequences especially on gift-delivery night. Someone may be injured by a falling present or a collision with a wayward sled.

A single incident has been reported so far (a plane was struck by an errant runner).

Bob Sleigh's elf-dealers urge affected owners to bring their sleds back to the shop as soon as possible to have the runner bolts tightened to specification or have a new runner installed at no cost.

Coverage of the 2014 Rovaniemi Sled Show
The editorial team at NorthPole123.com is super excited to attend the first-ever Sled Show in Rovaniemi, Lapland (Finland), where Santa Claus himself is scheduled to make a guest appearance!

We will cover all the latest innovations from the sled industry including advanced navigation systems and alternative reindeer-feeding technologies. Visitors at the show will also have an opportunity to try a state-of-the-art sled-racing simulator to hone their drifting, landing, and aircraft-avoidance skills.

A highlight of the 2014 Sled Show will be the auction of Santa VII, which miraculously returned home after the tragic events of 1997 (where it was mistakenly flagged as an enemy drone and riddled with bullets by fighter jets).

Lots of action at the fourth Sledding Grand Prix of the season
What a weekend! The fourth Sledding Grand Prix of the season wrapped up this past Sunday in Kiruna, the northernmost town in Sweden. The NorthPole123.com representative performed brilliantly, finishing in second place just 4.73 seconds behind the winner.

The qualifying session could have taken a turn for the worse when the German elf's sled lost a reindeer and nearly spun unto his British rival. Fortunately, the latter managed to avoid a collision.

The race was pretty eventful, too. The Finnish elf occupied one of the top three spots the entire time, but missed a pit stop near the end and was left stranded. With five laps to go, the German elf from Red Deer Racing made a spectacular comeback and skated by our NorthPole123.com elf to steal the win.

The fifth and final Sledding Grand Prix will take place right after the holiday season on the legendary track in Novosibirsk, Siberia.
