Newest addition completes Destination line's delivery on diversified LT/SUV needs
Mississauga, Ontario, September 2, 2004 - Bridgestone/Firestone Canada Inc. (BFCA) and its affiliate Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) have expanded their Firestone Destination(tm) line of light truck and SUV tires to include the new Firestone Destination(tm) A/T.
BFNT engineered the new Destination A/T to give light trucks and SUVs the advantage of the company's exclusive UNI-T® technology. The result - a tire with an aggressive tread design and rugged, all-terrain look, supported by a polyester body cord that provides a smooth ride. Computer-optimized tread elements minimize irregular wear, extend normal wear and enhance the tire's traction and handling.

The Firestone Destination A/T follows the 2002 introduction of the Firestone Destination M/T, and the Firestone Destination LE, which became available to consumers in 2003.
Offered in 24 R- and S-speed-rated sizes ranging from 14- to 17-inches, the Firestone Destination A/T has a UTQG rating of 460 for treadwear, A for traction and B for temperature. It also features an 80,000 km (50,000 miles) limited-treadwear warranty on all P-metric size tires.
