The new BMW Concept X2 made its global debut today at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, and we’re not exactly sure what to make of this.
As a concept, this new addition to the small crossover segment sure has a distinctive design that stands apart from other BMW X models. But really, who needs a 2-door coupe with increased ground clearance and all-wheel drive that rides on 21” wheels?
“The BMW Concept X2 is a vehicle for active people looking for a combination of enjoyment and practicality,” explains Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design, as if vehicles like the BMW X1 and X3 weren’t good enough already.
The Concept X2 is merely a design study at this point as no interior images or technical specs were released by BMW. Scroll down for additional pics and the official video.
