Cadillac announces 2016 CTS-V, debut set for Detroit Auto Show

The new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will make its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 13th, 2015, the company told Autoblog.

Featuring an engine derived from the Corvette ZR1, the current-generation CTS-V was launched in 2009 to rival powerful German sedans like the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG and BMW M5 at a much lower price.

The new, third-generation CTS-V should be able to put up an even better fight, although no technical specs have been released so far.
