CAI Auto Show Celebrates 20th year, Toyota Yaris Introduced to Canada

Ford's new Fusion has been in photographs for some time now, but you really have to see the car in person to appreciate its new styling. It's an array of wedges, shapes, chrome accents and metallic geometry that will have you doing a few walks around and thinking about how to describe it for some time. You might see some Infiniti and Cadillac in the face of the car, but what you don't see is that it's Mazda 6 underneath, which is a good thing. A four or six cylinder engine is available in the Fusion, and pricing starts under $23,000.

I hate to say it but winter is coming up slowly but surely for most of us. That's why I wanted to leave you all with a little something to keep you warm over the next few months, and something to think about until springtime. There were a few roadsters at the show which you should look at:

Pontiac Solstice:

Built off GM's new Global RWD platform, the Solstice has 177 horsepower, 2 seats, and starts under $26,000. You get big 18" wheels, two tone interior and even a short throw 5 speed shifter. Value and Velocity? Yes please.

Honda S2000:

The most race-ready roadster out there is out for a fight! With a 240 horsepower engine that spins to a furious 8000 RPM, powerful brakes, dynamic styling and Honda quality built right in. Two can fly for $49,800.

Chrysler Crossfire:

Available as a coupe or convertible, with 215 or 330 horsepower, manual or automatic gearboxes and German derived luxury and manners, the Crossfire has something for everybody. Fun in the sun starts around $40,000.
