The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship will walk away from its usual regional events in 2010 to concentrate on bigger events in 2010.

The venues of Shannonville and Calabogie will be left behind to the profit of several events showcasing bigger series like the Speed World Challenge Series and the American Le Mans Series that will visit the circuit of Mosport in May and August, respectively.

The CCTCC will also visit Toronto (Honda Indy) and Trois-Rivières (Grand Prix) as well as, possibly, Montreal for the return of F1’s Canadian Grand Prix – yet to be confirmed.

Mirabel’s ICAR track will also host two of CCTCC events in 2010, one in July and a second one in September for the Continental Sundown, under the lights.

2010 Calendar:
May 22-23 - Mosport International Raceway (Victoria Day Weekend)
June 11-13 - TBA
July 3-4 - ICAR (Grand-Prix de Mirabel)
July 16-18 – Toronto (Honda Indy Toronto)
August 13-15 – Trois-Rivières (Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières)
August 27-29 - Mosport International Raceway (Grand-Prix of Mosport)
September 11-12 - ICAR (Continental Sundown)
