The Renault-Nissan Alliance today announced the appointment of Catherine Loubier as Global Director of communications. The Montreal native had previously occupied several positions within the Canadian government, including Press Secretary and spokesperson for the Prime Minister. In her new position she will be tasked with increasing the visibility and managing the image of the Alliance around the world, supervising communications by the group’s CEO and executives, media relations and various partnerships, as well as establishing new communications practices between the group’s three entities (Renault, Nissan and the Alliance).
Mrs. Loubier will also be heading a team at Renault’s head office in Boulogne, where she will be based, as well as supervising a similar team based at Nissan’s head office in Yokohama, Japan. We wish her much success in her new position!
