Nigel Krikorian of Markham, Ontario battled a wet track and a tightly bunched field and powered his Subaru to a win in the second race of the 2008 Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship at Mosport's Victoria Day SpeedFest.
After starting the race form the 15th position, the Krikorian Motorsports racer moved to the front, edging out the Lexus of polesitter Andrew Wojteczko, of Caledon, Ontario (Super Touring, Auto Analyser Racing).
Arek Wojciechowski of Ashton, Ontario (BMW, Super Touring, 8Legs Racing) rounded out the top three.
In the Castrol Series' Touring class, Nigel Heron of Verdun, Quebec improved on his third-place result in Saturday's race to take the victory behind the wheel of his Acura Integra GSR, while finishing fourth overall.
TwoFast Racing's Christian Raymond of St-Jerome, Quebec was second in his Mazda Protégé (fifth overall), while Team Durabond racer Andre Rapone, of Thornhill, Ontario rounded out the top three in his Acura Integra Type R (sixth overall).
