Chevrolet Corvette 50th Anniversary

Baldick promises that, for three days, "Nashville will transform into Corvette-ville, with cars, activities, displays, concerts, parades, club functions, clinics and more to keep visitors busy. And if that isn't enough, the National Corvette Museum (NCM) in Bowling Green, Ky., will be offering special events and tours throughout the weekend."

The first event up in the year-long celebration is the Historic Motorama presented by the National Corvette Museum from June 24-28, 2002. It starts with a drive with one example of a Vette from each production year, going to Flint to Warren to St. Louis and on to Bowling Green, and if you don't know why those places are meaningful to Vette owners you probably won't want to take part.
