The 200C EV concept has a second-generation navigation system with real-time weather and traffic conditions, with the ability to view local traffic cameras. What's more, the navigation system can recommend the most fuel efficient routes to the driver. The system can be accessed by a passenger personal computer, which can also access the Internet or run vehicle diagnostics.

The 200C also features novel connectivity features such as automatically adjusting home/office lighting or appliances. Other vehicles can be linked to the 200C EV to show their locations, share music, or 'instant message' one another. Furthermore, a 'smart' phone can be linked to the 200C to control power windows and locks, or to start the vehicle remotely. The vehicle can also relay diagnostic information, such as battery charge, to this phone and alert the owner if the car is stolen. Playing Big Brother, Chrysler says the phone can then locate and disable the vehicle.

Other vehicles can be linked to the 200C EV to show their locations.

Seemingly in response to hype about the Chevy Volt, Chrysler announced the 200C EV concept alongside four other 'green' vehicles: Chrysler Town & Country EV, Jeep Patriot EV, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited EV, and Dodge Circuit EV. These are the products of Chrysler's ENVI (short for "environment") division, which was created after the 2007 separation with Daimler to carry on with green technology research and development. Chrysler is using these products to convince buyers, and, more importantly, government bail-out leaders, that the company can survive in the revolutionizing automotive market.
