The Imperial nameplate recalls high levels of luxury and opulence from Chrysler fans. DCX has introduced an Imperial concept here at the NAIAS, which is based on a stretched Chrysler 300 or LX chassis. Overall dimensions grew by 17 inches in length and 6 inches in height. There is no need to say that the weight has also increased not to mention that the car sports 22" wheels. It is therefore a good thing that Chrysler has decided to drop in the HEMI 5.7L V8 good for 340 hp.

The Imperial features LED headlamps, a boattail design and suicide doors, as well as two-tone leather seats and reclinable back seats. Dubbed "The poor-man's Phantom", the Imperial is not exactly a pretty automobile. It is very unlikely that it will be produced.
