Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President of Design says "Sebring's elegant styling provides a clear alternative to European and Japanese competition."

music. The system follows voice commands, and can even play movies. A Bluetooth wireless connection allows drivers to make the best use of today's new hands free cellular phones as well.

With all of this equipment and style come several choices for eager performance. A four cylinder engine displaces 2.4 litres and generates 172 horsepower- an ideal compromise between performance and power. Next up, a 2.7 litre V6 engine quietly spins up 190 horsepower and features enhanced low end torque response for great acceleration. A 3.5 litre V6 with 235 horsepower resides in the higher end of the Sebring spectrum. All engines twist the front wheels through four or six-speed automatic transmissions, and offer refinement and character in line with Japanese and European competition.

update including new power, new features and evolutionary improvements to fortify its position as a smart, safe and sexy family tourer.

Under the groovy hood, a new bored and stroked version of the 3.5 litre V6 now displaces 4 litres and generates 255 horsepower and 265 pounds-feet of torque. The long awaited increase in horsepower is transmitted to all four wheels via a new six-speed automatic gearbox on the Touring model. A 3.8 litre engine is also available.

Building on its existing safety success story, the Pacifica will now include standard side airbags, ESP, and tire pressure monitoring- ensuring peace of mind for driver and occupants. While aboard, passengers can be entertained by a larger DVD screen, CD/DVD/MP3 stereo system and striking interior style.

A Chrysler exclusive feature for many new models including Pacifica is called Yes Essentials. A fabric seating surface which repels static and odor, it is extremely easy to clean- meaning temper-tantrums from slurpee-weilding toddlers can be dealt with hastily.

Pacifica's competitors include Nissan's Murano, the Freestyle from Ford, and the Buick Rendezvous.

The new Chrysler models are sure to shake things up in their segments and send lesser products back to the drawing board. Stay tuned to your local dealership or auto123.com for more details as they become available.
