Circuit Ford Lincoln is a name that has been synonymous with Ford vehicles in Montreal for a long time. Four months ago, the McLean brothers, Peter and Philip, took over the franchise. The brothers were and are ready and excited with the prospect of participating in Ford's Way Forward as one of the new faces of the new Ford.
Last night was the big night. Between the hours of 4 and 8pm, Circuit Ford played host to the opening celebrations that was more like a party than an official gathering.
The main events were the presence of none other than Jacques Demers (a.k.a. the Coach), Bill Osborne, President and CEO of Ford Canada, Peter Sinuita, President of Ford Credit Canada as well as Robert Issenman, President of Leader Auto Resources (LAR). All were present to support the McLean brothers and to wish them well in their endeavours.
The new dealership is spread out over 200,000 square feet of real estate. It features a fresh modern showroom capable of containing 12 vehicles of various sizes. The attractive parts store is complete with display cases full of Ford memorabilia consisting mostly of Mustang paraphernalia. Circuit's Parts department, #1 in sales in Montreal, is open evenings with the along with the Service department until 10pm. The service department also includes a cozy 10-seat movie theatre, perfect for those that choose to wait for their car.
Peter Mc Lean, President of Circuit Ford, is thrilled with Ford's new line up of family cars. He mentioned that the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX are especially interesting as they represent a perfect blend of family versatility and bold good looks. The upcoming Flex will add tremendously to the growing interest that is currently brewing over Ford's latest products.
Circuit's slogan, "On passe à l'action", roughly translated into "Time for action", is a clear indication that the new administrators of the dealership are here to serve their customers.
