Citroën fans all over the world can now rediscover and appreciate the company’s storied history and models thanks to Citroën Origins, a brand new and responsive website that serves as a virtual museum.
From the Type A to the Traction Avant, from the 2 CV to the Ami 6, from the GS to the XM, and from Xsara Picasso to New C3, users can marvel at 50 or so vehicles, with more to be added in the coming weeks. Along with the production models, there are racers and concept cars, too.
But wait, there’s more: In addition to the virtual showroom with 360-degree views, Citroën Origins allows you to listen to the engine ignition and up to three other sound extracts for each model (horn, indicators, handbrake, suspension, etc.).
Period music, brochure extracts, anecdotes, and technical data really make it an immersive experience.
By the way, Citroën will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2019.
