Speedvision says it will provide millions of dollars in programming and on-airpromotion for eClassix.com, as well as two new series that will debut in 2000.

The Hemmings Motor News weekly show will visit collector car shows throughout the world, "providing expert insight and historical perspective on collector cars and their current market values. It will also integrate and highlight elements of the eClassix.com site for those wishing to learn more or complete a transaction."

Barrett-Jackson Auctions will provide regular live, no-reserve auctions with companion online bidding on eClassix.com. The series is supposed to "significantly expand Speedvision's regular live coverage of auction events, and will include most editorial elements of Speedvision's current coverage, including expert opinions and historic archive-based footage."

According to Speedvision president and CEO Roger Werner, "This agreement effectively establishes the first and only one-stop shopping destination designed solely for the special interest vehicle enthusiast." He says the whole package will be "the e-commerce leader in this important market."
