A website called stop100.ca is pressing the Ontario government to increase highway speed limits to 120 km/h in metropolitan areas and 130 km/h in the country.

Ontario currently enforces a highway speed limit of 100 km/h like most Canadian provinces. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and New Brunswick allow drivers to travel at 110 km/h.

Stop100.ca claims that advanced technologies now make it safer to drive at more than 100 km/h – a limit set in the 1970s.

What's your take?
