CPP expands its collection with Zagato

It seems that specialist car builder CPP (Coventry Prototype Panels) just can't get enough under its wings and has acquired Milanese design house Zagato for an unknown amount.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the acquisition – not even when it took place – but one thing is for sure; CPP is creating quite a collection for itself. From Bowler (off-road at high speeds anyone?) to Spyker (because Saab clearly has bigger fish to fry), CPP seems to be buying up anything and everything that's interesting in the automotive world. And we're behind them all the way.

Case in point: the Milanese design house is responsible for creating the Aston Martin V12 Zagato. Now you might want to grab a Kleenex for this next bit of info: The V12 Zagato is headed for the streets. It's not just a glorious concept of awesomeness. Rumour has it that production will be limited to 150 units and the cost will be around $530,000 US. We don't care about those numbers, we just hope that one day it will be real enough to hold, touch, caress ...
