WINDSOR, ON In a recent survey, Canadian Automobile Association members clearly expressed their preference for DaimlerChrysler vehicles.
As part of its 2000 Vehicle Ownership Survey, CAA asked its members what vehicle they would purchase if price and practicality were not issues - in other words, "What is the vehicle of your dreams?"
When the responses had been tallied, the Jeep Grand Cherokee was their first overall choice and five of the ten top products selected were DaimlerChrysler vehicles. The other DaimlerChrysler vehicles on the list included the Dodge Durango, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Dodge Caravan minivan and Dodge Ram Pickup.
"We are honoured that so many CAA members expressed their preference for our vehicles over all others," Ed Brust, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. said.
"There's no stronger validation of our design and engineering excellence than consumer endorsement. We're delighted!" Mr. Brust said.
Fifty-one per cent of those who responded to the survey question chose an every-day family vehicle while only six per cent selected exotic marques like Lamborghini or Porsche.
