While the normal trend shows the highest sales increases among all-new models, DaimlerChrysler Canada's Chrysler Sebring Sedan, introduced in 2000 as a 2001 model, and 300M, on its last year before a complete redesign, experienced impressive sales growth during February. The Sebring's rose up the charts by 61.4% while the 300M saw an increase of 47.3% compared to the same month last year.

Dodge's value leading SX 2.0, the replacement for the Chrysler Neon no longer available, saw great results as well. "For the 2003 model year, we introduced the Dodge SX 2.0 as our new small car entry and Canadian consumers have responded positively to its 'SXy' styling and affordable price", stated Bob Clark, Vice President, Sales and Service. "Sales of our small cars are up 44.5 percent over Neon sales for the same month last year."

The Jeep brand also increased its rate of market share expansion. "We are also very pleased with the continued success of our new Jeep Liberty and Dodge Ram pickups both setting February records with sales up 24.3 and 14.7 percent respectively over last year," continued Clark. "Total Jeep sales also set a February record increasing 13.7 percent over 2002."
