After five hours of racing during the Daytona 24hours, problems and damages have start impacting the order of the field with polesitters losing the lead of the race due to various incidents.

Building their way up the field for the first hours, the No. 45's lead vanished when Seth Neiman was hit from behind on a restart and later hit a lip coming onto the track.

The car eventually went back on track, but the time lost in the garage was plenty enough for the team to not only lose the lead, but vanish in the field.

Darren Law, David Donohue, Buddy Rice and Burt Frisselle were leading the DP division and the overall standing after this fifth hour.

Wayne Taylor, Max Angelelli, Rick Taylor and Ryan Briscoe were second after leading the fourth hour.

The Gainsco No. 99 car co-driven by NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson was 22nd.

In GT, Hurley Haywood, Andrew Davis, Leh Keen and Marc Lieb were the leaders after five hours.

As for Quebecker Jean-François Dumoulin, in his Ferrari, he was 44th, several laps down, after starting from 42nd place. The team had to fix the car yesterday night after an incident from one of the Quebecker's teammate in late-night practice.
