First introduced at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, the Slingshot concept is a two-seater driver oriented sporty car. It features a removable roof panels that can be stored in the trunk. It is powered by a rear-mounted 3-cylinder engine that develops 100 hp mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Because of a favorable power-to-weight ratio, the Slingshot is capable of 10-second sprints to 100 km/h. Fuel efficiency will be in the order of 6.5L per 100 km.
