The best thing to do is to practice with your sports car on a large empty surface like a deserted shopping mall parking lot. We chose Mecaglisse, a gearhead winter wonderland located up in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci and a great place to get an advanced driving course under your belt.
These Porsches are also blessed with convenience amenities that make life easier in winter, like heated seats for example. Let’s not forget that Porsche has a history of cold-weather testing, their camouflaged cars often caught on film in the upmost regions of Sweden.

But then again, like my colleague Bertrand pointed out, just because you can doesn’t mean you want to; out of respect, a lot of owners will never want to see their Porsches covered in salt and road grime. It’s a personal choice, but know that you DO have a choice.
